This baroque style fountain was ordered to be built by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.torresdoallo.gal\/historia\/a-casa-dos-rioboo\/\"><strong>G\u00f3mes de Riob\u00f3o Seixas y Vilardefrancos<\/strong><\/a> in the 17th century, at the same time that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.torresdoallo.gal\/o-pazo\/torre-nueva\/\"><strong>Torre Nueba<\/strong><\/a> was erected. The enclave was designed for resting and to slowly enjoy the sounds of the water and forest, evidenced by the two large benches that are placed on both sides of the fountain\u2019s entrance.
